Had an amazing time with friends, celebrating a big day! We enjoyed toasting champagne in the beautiful ceremonial hall and danced the night away under the stars. The lovely breakfast was a nice touch to start our day. Just be prepared for stairs if you're on the upper floors.
The bar was overpriced.

Solid selection for a city holiday in Darwen with good value for cost. The breakfast was cooked to order and piping hot. Try to get breakfast early to avoid the rush.

The wedding venue was impressive and the staff truly made us feel welcomed, though the shower pressure could use improvement. a delightful experience with beautiful grounds and lovely communal areas. the bed was quite hard, which made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep.

missingWrote a review on Nov 04helpful staffinconvenient shower
The good breakfast selection of hot and cold options was a highlight during the stay, with friendly staff ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. breakfast service turned chaotic on the second day due to a wedding, with a buffet lacking pastries and a strict 9.30 am exit time enforced. the over-bath shower provided only a weak water flow, falling short of expectations for hotel standards.

We recently enjoyed a family getaway at Astley Bank. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, especially the serene gardens where we spent quality time relaxing. For breakfast, we indulged in a delightful spread, with fresh options in the bright conservatory. It was a lovely start to each day!
In my wife’s opinion, the shower temperature control was inconsistent, making it tough for the kids to manage their bath time. A more family-friendly approach to bathroom facilities would be great.
